Midwife For You

A relaxed 5-week Infant Massage course where parents learn gentle massage techniques to support their baby's development, relaxation and bonding. Each week we focus on a different area of baby's body, while also covering techniques that may help with common issues such as wind, colic, constipation and supporting better sleep. Classes are baby-led and relaxed, with plenty of time for feeding, settling and chatting with other parents. Classes take place in a private studio in Ballyhyland, Co. Laois, and are suitable for newborns to pre-crawling. Mums, dads, or caregivers such as grandparents are welcome to attend, and caregivers stay for the full class and learn the massage techniques with their baby. Please bring a towel or blanket for baby to lie on; babies should wear comfortable clothing that is easy to remove for massage. Massage oil and an information booklet are provided. Classes are facilitated by a registered midwife and certified infant massage instructor.

This parent-and-child-focused group aims to support parents and children through play, art and craft, outdoor play, music, dance and storytelling, with tea/coffee and snacks - a perfect morning to meet new people and let the kids play.
