About Portlaoise Family Resource Centre - Toddler & Kids Groups
Portlaoise Family Resource Centre on Harpur's Lane runs a parent-and-toddler morning every Monday from 9.30 to 11.30am, mixing play, art and craft, outdoor time, music, dance and storytelling for babies and toddlers while parents chat over tea and coffee. It's a drop-in session, no booking needed, and costs just €2 per family.
The centre also runs youth clubs for older children on Tuesdays: a Junior Youth Group for ages 7-12 from 6 to 7pm, followed by a Senior Youth Group for 13-18 year-olds from 7 to 8pm, covering games, art, mindfulness, cookery and more.
Membership is required for the youth clubs, with forms available at the centre. Contact info@portlaoisefrc.ie for details.
