About Portlaoise Library - Baby & Toddler Group / Kids Book Clubs
Portlaoise Library on Lower Main Street runs a broad mix of free family sessions, from baby storytime to Lego play and book clubs for older kids.
The Baby and Toddler Book Club uses songs, stories and rhymes to build early literacy skills for ages 0-3, meeting fortnightly on Thursdays from 10.30 to 11.30am. School-age readers can join Radioactive Readers (ages 7-9, Tuesdays at 4pm) or the Tweens Book Club (ages 10-12, Thursdays at 4pm), both recommended for booking in advance. Lego Free Play is a Saturday drop-in from 11am to 1pm, no booking needed.
All sessions are free. Contact 057 86 22333 or portlaoiselibrary@laoiscoco.ie, and confirm dates around school holidays as they can shift.
