About Swimtastic.ie

Swimtastic.ie runs its Laois swimming programme from Portlaoise, part of a network of warm, child-friendly pools spanning Laois, Carlow, Kilkenny and Kildare. Lessons cover the full age range from tiny babies through to teenagers, with parents in the water for the youngest classes and independent instruction as children grow in confidence.

Baby Swim (3-12 months) is a gentle, sensory introduction to the water focused on bonding and confidence-building, moving on to Toddler Swim (1-3 years) for play-based safety and movement skills, then Preschool Swim (3-5 years) for stroke development and breath control in small groups. From age 5, Junior Swim lets children swim independently while building technique and endurance.

Pricing varies by age group and term - get in touch with Swimtastic for current rates at the Portlaoise pool.
