About Dunamaise Arts Centre - Children's Art Workshops

Dunamaise Arts Centre is the county arts centre for Laois, housed in a converted 18th-century gaol on Church Street in the centre of Portlaoise. Alongside its theatre, film screenings and visual arts gallery, it runs a programme of workshops and classes, including children's art workshops for ages 7 and up and visit programmes for primary schools. Workshops are led by practising artists and give children the chance to try new materials and techniques in a working arts venue. Check the centre's Workshops and Classes listings for the current programme, dates and booking details.
