About Fireflies Leixlip Parent and Kids Group
Fireflies Leixlip Parent and Kids Group is a free-play social club designed specifically for children aged 3 to 7 with autism and other complex needs, giving them a safe, secure space to explore different sensory stations at their own pace. The group's motto, "let's play the sensory way," sums up its relaxed, child-led approach.
Sessions run every Wednesday during term time from 5.30 to 7pm in the large, secure hall at Leixlip Youth & Community Centre, County Kildare, offering both children and their parents a regular weekly chance to connect with others in similar circumstances.
