About Dundalk Comhaltas (CCÉ Craobh Dhún Dealgan)
Dundalk Comhaltas (CCÉ Craobh Dhún Dealgan) is the Dundalk branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, based at the Oriel Centre in the old Dundalk Gaol on the Carrickmacross Road. The branch teaches traditional Irish music to children and adults, with classes in concertina, flute, fiddle, tin whistle, pipes, harp, banjo, mandolin, guitar, button accordion and piano accompaniment. A popular junior session runs on the last Friday of every month from 7:30pm, giving young musicians a chance to play together. Contact the branch secretary for class times and enrolment.
