Dundalk School of Music - Pre-instrumental

About Dundalk School of Music - Pre-instrumental

Dundalk School of Music runs a Pre-instrumental course for children aged 4 to 6 at its Blackthorn Business Park premises on Coe's Road, Dundalk, designed as a gentle first step before picking up an actual instrument.

The 9-week programme uses group activities, movement and rhythm work to build the listening skills, pulse and coordination that later instrumental lessons rely on.

It's a natural starting point for young children showing an interest in music, giving them a taste of group learning before moving on to individual tuition.
