About Fundamental Movement Academy

Fundamental Movement Academy (FMA) focuses on building the core movement skills that underpin all sport and physical activity, for children aged 5 to 12 in Dundalk, County Louth. Sessions cover running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance, coordination, agility and teamwork through games and age-appropriate challenges, with each six-week block honing in on a different fundamental skill.

Every child receives an FMA Movement Journal to track progress and complete weekly home challenges. Classes run Wednesdays: 4-4.50pm for ages 5-7 and 5-5.50pm for ages 8-12, priced at €17 per session. Parents can stay or return at the end; children should wear sports clothing and trainers, and bring water. Trial sessions and sibling discounts are available.
