View full details →The ImagiNation is a colourful, screen-free role play mini world designed for toddlers, preschoolers and young children up to age 7 (with tiny tag-alongs welcome). Children explore a mini world of real-life role play including a café, supermarket, vets, salon, emergency services and more. Play is child-led, open-ended and designed to support confidence, communication, social skills and imagination. Sessions run at Lyons Department Store, Sligo, with bookable play sessions during the week and on Saturdays, as well as private birthday parties and school or group bookings. A small baby area is available for younger siblings, and caregivers stay and supervise for the duration of the session. Seating is provided for adults with clear visibility across the play space. Children should wear comfortable clothes and socks. No special equipment is needed – just curiosity and imagination.

The class is split into movement via an obstacle course with a wide variety of gross motor and balance elements, and a group 'best bit of the week' instilling an 'attitude of gratitude'. We focus on three yoga poses per week, with yoga (pranayama) breathing practice using props like feathers, bubbles, a light ball and straws, and dance, move and freeze with yoga songs from Kidding Around Yoga. The session also includes a mindfulness story and activities by Louise Shannaher, mindfulness colouring and Lego, and finishes with our 'Peace Begins with Me' song.
