About Sligo Youth Theatre

Sligo Youth Theatre is the youth theatre for 10 to 18 year olds in Sligo, based at The Fridge on Lower Quay Street. Around 90 young members take part in a year-round programme of theatre workshops and performances, where they develop acting and performance skills, confidence and teamwork in a supportive group. It also runs specialist week-long courses in theatre, dance and theatre design, giving young people a taste of the backstage side of theatre as well as performing. Sligo Youth Theatre is listed in the national directory of Youth Theatre Ireland.
