Titanic Belfast
About Titanic Belfast
Standing on the actual slipways where Titanic was designed, built and launched, this striking museum uses nine interactive galleries to trace the ship's full story, from Belfast's shipbuilding boom through construction and launch to the maiden voyage and its place in history. Kids can ride a mini gondola-style car through a recreated shipyard experience, walk full-scale reconstructions of Titanic's decks and cabins, and use touchscreen and multimedia stations that make the scale of the ship and the era genuinely tangible rather than abstract. The Discovery Tour option adds an outdoor walking element around the historic Titanic Slipways. Multimedia guides are available for an extra charge, and the building is fully accessible with support aids for visitors with additional needs. Families can eat at The Galley Café or The Pantry, browse the Titanic Store for souvenirs, or grab a drink at Hickson's Point. Admission is free for under-5s, making it easy to bring the whole family, and entry also includes access to the SS Nomadic, Titanic's last remaining sister ship, moored nearby. It's an immersive, largely indoor experience well suited to a rainy Belfast day.
