The Academy of Music, Tullamore
About The Academy of Music, Tullamore
The Academy of Music in Tullamore was founded in 2007 by Ciaran Brady and Martina Burgoyne and has become one of the midlands' best-known music schools. With large classrooms, more than seven individual tuition rooms and six pianos, it teaches students from age 2 right through to adults, from beginners to advanced. Children can start with musicianship and pre-instrumental classes (ages 4 to 6), then move on to one-to-one lessons in piano, voice, violin, cello, guitar, flute, saxophone or clarinet. Students can also join choirs, the orchestra and ensembles, and take part in performances and competitions. All teachers are fully qualified, and no entrance audition is needed.
