About Laois County Council - Tin Whistle Classes, Mountmellick
Laois County Council runs free tin whistle classes for children aged 7 to 16 at Mountmellick Library, split into two age groups over a 4-week course.
The classes are held as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, the national day of free creativity for children and young people, giving families a no-cost introduction to a traditional Irish instrument.
Based at the library on O'Moore Street, the short course suits children wanting to try tin whistle without committing to a longer-term music programme.
