About Santa's Grotto at Enchanted Winter Garden, Antrim

Enchanted Winter Garden is Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council's Christmas event in Antrim Castle Gardens, with a light trail through the gardens, a funfair and a festive food fayre. Santa is in his grotto from 2 to 22 December 2026, where children can meet him and share their Christmas wishes.

The gardens open on selected evenings from 2 to 28 December, with the Grinch taking over on 27 and 28 December. The entrance is the Barbican Gate in Antrim town centre; there's no parking on site, but a free shuttle bus runs from The Junction. Allow 90 minutes to two hours. Inclusive evenings with gentler lighting and sound run on 3 and 9 December.

Entry £10 per child (2 to 17) and £15 per adult; under-2s go in for nothing. A visit to Santa’s grotto is paid for with tokens on top of entry: £1 each, or 12 for £10 if you buy them online with your tickets.
