Maia Purposeful Play

About Maia Purposeful Play

In Shannon, County Clare, Maia Purposeful Play runs a 60-minute child-led play session for babies and children up to age 4, with a parent or caregiver taking part alongside them. Children are free to move between different play stations — sensory, imaginative and creative — choosing what interests them rather than following a set activity plan.

The approach is designed to support cognitive, emotional and physical development while keeping the experience genuinely child-directed. A pre-walking baby costs 12.50 euro, a walking child 17.50 euro, and a pre-walking baby attending with a sibling is 22.50 euro. Sister sessions also run in Ballysadare, County Sligo, and Ennis, County Clare.
