WAMA Waterford - Dance & Drama

About WAMA Waterford - Dance & Drama

WAMA, the Waterford Academy of Music & Arts, runs dance and drama classes for children from junior infants up to young adults at The Arts Complex on the Dunmore Road, Waterford. The classes aim to build confidence and self-expression in a non-competitive setting, using drama games, dance and contemporary theatre, and students work towards an end-of-year show in the Theatre Royal. The academy has been teaching since 2004 and also offers music tuition, art classes and Easter and summer camps in the same purpose-built building, which has its own 160-seat theatre. Term dates for 2026/27 are on its Key Dates page.
