Stay at home Irish Summer College

About Stay at home Irish Summer College

Sárghael runs a South Dublin-based Irish summer college aimed at boosting children's spoken Irish over the school holidays. Courses for 1st and 2nd year secondary students take place at the IADT Carriglea building on Kill Ave, while 3rd to 6th class primary pupils attend courses at Clonkeen College.

The focus is on real, practical use of Irish through speaking, sports, music and social activities with peers, rather than classroom-style grammar drills, aiming to show students that Irish is a living language rather than just a school subject. More information is available at sárghael.ie.
