Shannon Swimming & Leisure Centre runs Swim Ireland's Learn to Swim programme for children aged 5 to 12 in Shannon, Co. Clare — a nationally recognised curriculum that takes kids through progressive stages of water confidence and stroke technique.

Lessons are booked in 8-week blocks priced from €76 to €90, and families can choose from weekend, midweek or lane-swim time slots, making it easier to find a slot that fits around school and other activities.

Because it follows the Swim Ireland framework, progress is measured against a standard set of levels used by swim schools around the country.
