About Portumna Library - Toddler (up to 5) Storytime / Lego Group
Portumna Library on Castle Ave in Portumna Demesne, Co. Galway runs two free weekly sessions for younger children back to back on Fridays. Storytime at 3pm is a relaxed listen-along session for children up to school age, with parents and childminders welcome to join in for a story or two.
Straight after, at 3.30pm, the same room turns into Lego Time, where kids build individually or in small groups, whatever their imagination comes up with. Both are drop-in and completely free of charge. The library also puts on extra events during school holidays, so it's worth checking in with staff or contacting portumna@galwaylibrary.ie for what's on.
