About Galway Music Academy

Galway Music Academy has taught music in Galway since 2012 and welcomes children from age 4, as well as teenagers and adults. Younger children (4 to 6) usually start in group or pre-instrumental programmes, while one-to-one weekly 30-minute lessons suit children from around 6 or 7. Instruments include guitar, drums, violin and fiddle, among others. Lessons take place in school venues at Knocknacarra, Claregalway, Renmore, Oranmore and Tuam. The academy follows the national school calendar but enrols throughout the year, and a sibling discount applies. An enquiry form helps match the child, instrument and location.
