About Galway Bay Sailing Club - Junior Courses

Galway Bay Sailing Club at Renville, Oranmore is an Irish Sailing training centre running junior courses each summer. Start Sailing is a one-week Level 1 course for ages 8 to 17, run Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17:00 with a supervised lunch break. Cara na Mara is a week-long introduction for ages 7 to 11, and there is also a sailing-through-Irish course for ages 7 to 11. Children aged 10 to 16 can take a Kids Kayak Introduction in morning or afternoon sessions. Booking is online through the club website.
