About Designer Minds (Limerick after-school club)

Designer Minds runs a weekly STEAM after-school club at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, for children from 1st to 6th class. Each week children get hands-on with projects, challenges and experiments: learning to code, completing LEGO engineering challenges, designing t-shirts, carrying out science experiments and using Minecraft to solve maths problems. Sessions are run by Garda-vetted leaders using carefully planned lessons and up-to-date equipment. Designer Minds also runs STEAM holiday camps around the country for ages 6.5 to 12, covering chemistry, biology and physics.
