About Central Library Dublin 1
Central Library, based in the Ilac Centre in Dublin 1, runs two regular free sessions for children. The Toddler Group suits ages 0 to 4 and combines stories, music and playtime, with parents welcome to stay on afterwards and get to know other families; it runs Monday and Tuesday mornings at 11am, though it takes a break in July and August.
For older children, Lego Club is aimed at 6 to 12 year olds and needs no booking — just drop by on the last Saturday of the month between 10.30 and 11.45am. Both sessions are free. Contact the library on 01 222 8300 or centrallibrary@dublincity.ie for more.
