About Parks Tennis

Parks Tennis Ireland is a non-profit tennis programme that has been running for 40 years, staffed by around 28 volunteers and supported by Tennis Ireland, Sport Ireland and various local authorities. Classes run across various Dublin parks during the summer holidays.

The programme's aim is to make tennis available at very low cost to children from all social and ethnic backgrounds, particularly those who wouldn't otherwise get the chance to try the sport. Application forms are distributed widely, reaching an audience of over 250,000 people.

More than 20,000 children take part in Parks Tennis each year, making it one of the largest grassroots introductions to tennis available to Dublin families over the summer months.
