Babywearing Ireland's Galway Sling Meet gives parents and carers of babies and toddlers up to age 3 the chance to get informal, peer-to-peer support with babywearing, led by experienced volunteers. It's a relaxed, welcoming space for sharing what's worked, rather than a source of professional advice.

Through the meet, attendees can access the group's sling library, renting a stretchy wrap, woven wrap, ring sling, mei tai or soft structured carrier for a small fee and trying it at home for up to a month. The national library also delivers slings by courier for those who can't attend in person.
