About Baby Sensory Class - Midwife For You
This Gentle Sensory class in Ballyhyland, Co. Laois, is designed by a registered midwife to introduce babies from around three months old up to pre-crawling age to lights, textures, sounds and gentle movement, without overstimulation.
It works well as a follow-on from an infant massage course but can also be booked as a standalone class. Sessions are relaxed and baby-led, with time built in for feeding, changing and settling, plus a chance for parents to connect with each other.
A four-week term costs €90 and takes place in the instructor's private studio. Mums, dads, or other caregivers such as grandparents are welcome to attend and take part alongside their baby; no special equipment is needed beyond comfortable clothing.
