About Avoca Hockey Club

Avoca Hockey Club, based in South Dublin, is one of Ireland's oldest and largest hockey clubs, with a junior section of around 800 boys and girls training each week. It's an inclusive setting for children of all levels, whether playing purely for fun or working towards competitive hockey.

Junior training takes place across several South Dublin venues, including Newpark Comprehensive School, Sion Hill, Loreto Foxrock and St Andrew's College, giving families across the area a convenient location to attend. The club is affiliated with Hockey Ireland and the Leinster Hockey Association, and its junior section is supported by experienced coaches and a strong community feel.
