About Newpark Music Centre

Newpark Music Centre, on Newtownpark Avenue in Blackrock, offers early years music classes for children from 3 months to 7 years, always alongside a parent or carer. Sessions run for 45 minutes over a 30-week programme and are grouped by age: Newpark Nippers for 3 months to 4 years, Gateway to Music for 4 to 6 year olds, and Gateway to Instruments for 5 to 7 year olds.

Each stage introduces music gently through singing, percussion, storytelling and rhythm, building the kind of early exposure that's linked to language development and a lasting enjoyment of music.

The age-banded structure means children move through classes as their skills and attention span develop, from first sounds and songs right up to the early stages of learning an instrument.
