About Athlone Town AFC Junior Academy

Athlone Town AFC, the League of Ireland club, runs a Junior Academy for ages 6 to 10 and a Pre-Academy for ages 11 to 14 at the Athlone Town Stadium complex. Young players train with UEFA-qualified coaches, with a choice of club-team football or part-time clinics and camps. The club also runs a summer camp at the stadium with current senior players helping out, split into 6 to 8, 9 to 11 and 12 to 13 age groups. It's a structured route into football in Athlone for children who want to learn the game and develop their skills.
