Santa Experience at Fairways Hotel, Dundalk

The Fairways Hotel on the Dublin Road in Dundalk runs a Santa's Grotto on December weekends. Book a Santa visit on its own, about ten minutes with Santa, or a festive two-course family lunch in the hotel followed by the grotto, where every child gets a gift, cookies and hot chocolate. It runs on Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 20 December 2026, from noon. On Saturday 19 December, 6pm to 8pm, the hotel also puts on Grinchmas, a family Christmas game show with the Grinch, the Mayor of Whoville and Cindy Lou: live singing, games, spot prizes and a visit from Santa. There's free parking at the hotel.

Santa at The Riverbank, Killanny

Santa at The Riverbank is a storybook Christmas trail on The Riverbank's farm, on the Louth–Monaghan border near Carrickmacross. Families help the elves find Tinseltoes, a mischievous missing elf, following clues through the Gingerbread Kitchen, the Elves' Workshop, the Toy Room and the Post Office, then meet the animals in the Enchanted Barn and visit Santa in his Evergreen Loft. Every child gets a gift. It runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 27 November to 20 December 2026, plus Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December, with groups setting off every 30 minutes from 3pm at weekends and 4.30pm on weekdays. Allow 60 to 90 minutes, followed by a Christmas market with hot chocolate, hot dogs and burgers. Some paths are uneven or uphill; there's free parking and baby changing on site.

Santa's Grotto at Cornamucklagh House, Omeath

Santa and Mrs Claus welcome families to their grotto at Cornamucklagh House in Omeath, on the Cooley Peninsula. Each group has a personal visit of about 15 minutes, with a gift for each child and grotto photos, and there's mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate.
