dlr Leisure provides a wide range of sports, from indoor and outdoor sports to water sports. All sports activities are delivered by quality coaches who make participation fun for everyone, no matter their current level of ability. All coaches are NGB qualified and Garda screened. Small groups at all sessions ensure maximum attention for all participants. dlr Leisure's Sports Section provides all sports equipment at the sessions, but it's important for parents/guardians to ensure their child is dressed appropriately to take part in the activity and to bring a non-fizzy drink with them. dlr Leisure also runs various kids' camps throughout the school holidays.

Shanganagh, Loughlinstown, Ballyogan, Mounttown, Balally and Hillview have Parent and Toddler Groups provided by Southside Partnership (contact the group to be referred into the PEEP Programme). These are friendly, weekly parent and baby/toddler groups using PEEP (Parents Early Education Learning Together), a programme that helps parents understand baby and toddler development and what it's like to become a new parent. Your baby/toddler learns to play with you, their most important person, while also learning to play alongside other very young children. Sessions include free play, snack time, circle time, song and story time, and a chance to talk to other parents and staff. The PEEP+ groups are designed for anyone who feels a bit isolated or excluded, or who wants to attend a smaller group (max 8 parents, 8 babies/toddlers) - we have a lot of experience including and welcoming parents, babies and toddlers like you. Cost: free per family. Contact: 01 7060100 / lorraine.stewart@sspship.ie
