Bloom Baby Classes Midlands Ireland

Parent-and-toddler

Locations: Athlone, Edgeworthstown, Longford, Mullingar, Tullamore. Two classes are on offer: Caterpillar Club for babies aged 0-6 months, and Busy Bees for babies aged 6-15 months. Caterpillar Club (birth-6 months) is a gentle and calm introduction to our musical sensory classes, with activities designed to aid all areas of baby development and a strong focus on parent and baby bonding. The class awakens baby's first senses and stimulates them in a fun yet soothing way using music, sensory props and lights, ending with a chill parachute and a short guided baby massage to encourage a long nap. Busy Bees (6-15 months) is a fun, lively musical baby development class that focuses on growing baby's confidence for the world around them, encouraging fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, early language skills and rhythm. Building on the gentle activities of Caterpillar Club, this session uses instruments and branded props to support development in all areas. Classes feature a new theme every week for a whole year: during theme time, there are fun props, dress-up and music related to that week's theme, a great opportunity for Busy Bees to interact with each other while exploring props, heuristic treasure baskets and sensory lights, while Caterpillar babies work on tummy time alongside the sensory lights and themed props. It's also a great time for Bloom parents to catch up and get to know one another. Classes run: Tuesday, Mucklagh Community Centre, Tullamore; Wednesday, Mullingar Shamrocks GAA Club; Thursday, Drum Community Centre, Athlone; Friday, St Mary's Community Campus, Edgeworthstown.
