Masks and Mystics is a children's Halloween workshop at the Irish Wake Museum in Waterford's Viking Triangle. Children design their own folklore-inspired Halloween masks, with all materials included, and take them home. It runs at 14:00 each day from 26 to 30 October 2026, for ages 3 to 12. Places are €12.50 per child, adults don't pay, and one adult per child is recommended.

Samhain returns to Waterford city for a weekend of Ireland's ancient Halloween traditions, with the Fire and Shadows procession by Spraoi, concerts, food and storytelling. Waterford City and County Council promises family concerts and treats. It runs from 25 to 27 October 2026, with the procession on 25 October at 19:30. The street events cost nothing to attend, some concerts are ticketed, and the procession includes fire.
