Funtasia's Pumpkin Patch Festival, now in its fourth year at the Drogheda theme park, has pumpkin carving, Halloween games, costume and colouring competitions, a train ride, face painting and a movie tent. Lú Festival of Light lights up Drogheda for four free nights, with projections on St Peter's Church, the Old Abbey and St Laurence's Gate. Between shows, children's own drawings are projected onto St Peter's, and the Spooks Parade opens the festival. It runs from Friday 23 to Monday 26 October 2026, with the Spooks Parade at about 18:15 on the first night. Louth County Council describes it as free and family-friendly.
