The Bram Stoker Festival is Dublin's four-day Halloween festival inspired by the author of Dracula. Its family strand includes Stokerland, a free family fun park in St Patrick's Park, Dracula's Disco for ages 4 and up, a mask-making workshop at Collins Barracks, and Suitcase Stories puppet theatre. It runs from Friday 23 to Monday 26 October 2026, across venues in the city. Stokerland needs no booking, Dracula's Disco is free but ticketed, and some film and theatre events are paid. Parts of the programme are for adults, so check each event.

The Fingal Festival of Fire is Fingal County Council's free Halloween night, with live music, a scary disco and fireworks at four sites across north Dublin: Bremore Castle in Balbriggan, Swords Town Park, Millennium Park in Blanchardstown and Malahide Castle Park. It is on Saturday 31 October 2026, with activities from 18:30 and fireworks at 19:30. The scary disco may not suit very young children. Making Faces! is a free drop-in family workshop at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, during the Bram Stoker Festival. With artist Carrie Lynam, children design their own Halloween masks, inspired by the museum's Halloween trail. It runs on Sunday 25 October 2026 from 13:30 to 15:00 (last entry 14:30), for ages 7 to 12 with a parent or guardian. A mask takes about 25 minutes. There is no booking: places are first come, first served.
