About The Haunted Trail: Malahide Samhain Festival
The Haunted Trail: Malahide Samhain Festival fills the grounds of Malahide Castle with four zones: an interactive woodland trail where families meet hidden characters including Puck, Malahide's resident ghost; a Celtic Samhain Village with turnip carving and live fire performances; a storytelling stage with eerie myths and music; and a food village. Daytime sessions are gentler for younger children, and the trail takes on a darker atmosphere after dark.
It runs from 17 to 31 October 2026, roughly 12:00 to 20:00. Tickets start at €18 for children and €21 for adults, with family bundles available. It's run by Follow Fox Events under the Explore Fingal Home of Halloween programme.
