About The National Yacht Club

The National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire offers sailing classes to children from as young as 6, alongside a range of other, non-sailing activities within the club.

Each summer, the club runs two-week sailing courses open to members' children aged 8 to 18, working through the full range of ISA qualifications from Start Sailing right up to Pre Instructor level.

With a structured qualification pathway and courses aimed specifically at younger sailors, the National Yacht Club offers a clear progression route for children who want to build real sailing competence over successive summers.
