The Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School has been teaching sailing and powerboating courses from Dun Laoghaire Harbour since 1978, making it one of the longer-established sailing schools serving Dublin families.

All essential gear, boats and buoyancy aids are provided, so there's no need to invest in equipment before finding out whether sailing is for your child. Instructors are experienced, fully insured, and the school points to a strong safety record over its decades of operation.

For children new to being on the water, structured sailing and powerboating courses offer a supervised way to build practical skills, confidence and a genuine feel for the sport.
