About Taekwon-Do for Kids Ages 6-12

Tolka TKD runs Taekwon-Do classes for children aged 6-12 at St Joseph's Primary School in Fairview, Dublin, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4.30-5.30pm. Classes aim to build confidence, discipline, focus and physical fitness alongside the martial art itself.

Lead instructor Lee Kavanagh holds a 3rd Dan black belt, has represented Team Ireland at World and European Championships, and brings over 17 years of experience - he is also a primary school teacher, which shows in how the class is run for this age group. The club is affiliated with the Irish Taekwon-Do Association (ITA), part of the ITF in Ireland.

The friendly atmosphere lets children express themselves and become part of a team, making it a good option for those new to martial arts as well as those wanting to progress further.
