Rita's Clay House - Children's Pottery Classes

About Rita's Clay House - Children's Pottery Classes

Rita's Clay House, based in Carrigroe near Clonakilty, Co. Cork, offers children's pottery classes run by Rita Morrissey in a dedicated pottery and art studio.

As well as ongoing weekly-style classes throughout the year, the studio also runs a pottery summer camp, giving families a holiday option alongside term-time sessions.

Working with clay gives children a hands-on, sensory creative outlet distinct from drawing or painting, building fine motor skills and patience as they shape and finish their own pieces.
