Grannies, Squares and Stitches

About Grannies, Squares and Stitches

Grannies, Squares and Stitches is a one-off community craft morning hosted by Emma Jacobs Art at the West Cork Collective on Main Street, running as part of DCCI August Craft Month on Saturday 8 August, 10am-1pm.

The session brings younger participants together with older relatives or "borrowed" grannies to learn the granny square crochet technique from local experts, alongside a relaxed stitch-and-chat atmosphere with tea, home baking and acoustic music. All skill levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced knitters and crocheters.

Admission is free, but booking is essential as spaces are limited - contact Emma at emma@emmajacobsart.com or 085 826 3872 to secure a place.
