About Portmarnock Tennis Club - Junior Tennis

Portmarnock Tennis Club runs a colour-ball junior coaching programme for children up to age 14, using the graduated ball-and-court system that eases young players from mini tennis onto a full-size court as their skills develop.

For the youngest members, Happy Hitters is a dedicated Saturday session for ages 4-7, priced at just €5, giving pre-schoolers and junior infants a low-pressure introduction to racquet and ball. Older juniors progress through the main coaching pathway alongside their peers.

The club also holds annual junior championships, giving young players at every level something to work towards and a taste of competitive tennis in a supportive club environment.
