Donabate Portrane Tennis Club, based alongside Donabate Golf Club on New Road, runs junior tennis coaching for children from age 5 through to teens. Coaching follows the standard red, orange, green and yellow ball progression used across Irish tennis, so children move up to a bigger court and faster ball as their skills develop.

Junior coaching here is for club members only, so families will need to join the club to access sessions — a common setup for smaller tennis clubs that run their own coaching rather than open community classes.
