About Pearse St Toddler Group & Junior Book Club

Pearse Street Library runs two free family programmes from its branch at 139-144 Pearse Street, Dublin 2. The Parent and Toddler Group meets every Tuesday and Friday morning from 10.30am, combining story time, songs and rhymes facilitated by the Early Learning Initiative with free playtime afterwards; each ticket covers one adult and one child, and advance registration is required, so cancel if you can't make it to free up your spot for others.

For older children, the Junior Book Club is aimed at ages 8 to 12 and meets roughly monthly, usually on a Wednesday from 5 to 5.45pm, giving young readers a chance to discuss a monthly pick in a relaxed setting. Email ahead to book a place and find out the current book. Both programmes are free; contact 01 222 8430 or pearsestreetlibrary@dublincity.ie for details.
