About NPAS

The National Performing Arts School (NPAS) runs drama and acting classes from its Docklands base in Dublin, open to students aged 2 to 22. Classes use dramatic play, story enactment, imagination journeys, improvisation, theatre games, music and dance, treating "let's pretend" as a genuine creative tool rather than just child's play.

Students get the opportunity to perform in a professional setting, with a show staged at the Olympia Theatre every two years, giving longer-term students a real performance goal to work toward. A sister branch of NPAS also runs classes in Sandymount, Dublin 4.
