About Kilkenny Academy of Dance

Kilkenny Academy of Dance, based at the Smithlands Centre on Bohernatounish Road in Kilkenny Town, teaches ISTD ballet, contemporary/modern and jazz to children from age 3 upward.

The academy also runs a dedicated boys' hip hop class, offering an alternative style and a same-gender group setting for boys who might be less drawn to the traditional dance styles.

Summer camps run during school holidays, giving children an intensive dance-focused week outside the regular term-time schedule.
