About Kids Yoga & Zumbini Combo Class Midleton

Kids Yoga & Zumbini Combo Class runs every Thursday from 3.30-4.15pm at My Place Community Centre on Mill Road, Midleton, Co. Cork, for preschool-aged children. The 45-minute session combines two activities in one: a Zumbini portion of singing, dancing and instrument play drawing on music from different cultures, followed by themed yoga stories.

The yoga stories - jungle adventures, farm adventures, moon missions and ocean dives among them - use visuals and props to explore everyday challenges like frustration, friendships and separation anxiety in a way young children relate to. The class rounds off with simple games, dance and a short relaxation.

The combined format builds emotional intelligence, coping skills and social skills while keeping children playful and moving throughout.
