About GMA Stage School (Galway Music Academy)
GMA Stage School runs musical theatre, performing arts and voice classes for children on Saturday mornings at Coláiste Bhaile Chláir in Claregalway. There are three age groups: Little Dreamers for ages 4 to 6, Lights, Camera, Action for ages 7 to 9 and The Spotlights for ages 10 to 12. Each class starts with vocal and drama warm-ups, then moves on to learning songs, choreography and drama before rehearsing together as an ensemble. Teachers are working musicians who play live in the room rather than relying mainly on backing tracks. Class sizes are capped at 20 students.
