About Galway Community Circus

Shantalla is the main hub for Galway Community Circus, offering the widest range of classes: Toddler Circus for ages 1–4 with an adult on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, Family Circus on Saturdays for ages 4+ with siblings (adults join in), and Youth Circus spanning ages 1–17 across weekly age groups (5–7, 8–11, 12–17), where parents don't stay.

The philosophy is 'circus for all' — non-competitive sessions that build confidence and social skills through circus arts. Tea, coffee and social time are offered around Toddler and Family sessions. Galway Community Circus also runs classes in Renmore and Tuam, September to June with summer camps too. Fees vary by age, paid via monthly subscription; see galwaycommunitycircus.com.
